Why do Office Yoga or Pilates

 

Working in an office or at a computer for prolonged periods of time can put strain on the neck, shoulder and back muscles which in turn can lead to tension and stiffness. This tension can cause headaches, as well as back, neck and shoulder pain. If left unattended, it could also impact your ability to function effectively at work and your overall quality of life. Simple techniques taught by qualified Yoga Instructors from Monsoon Yoga will help alleviate the pain and other symptoms by releasing tension and increasing muscle strength and flexibility.

Breathing and Relaxation Session

 

This is an interactive workshop with some gentle destressing stretches, breathing exercises and visual meditation. We introduce some simple techniques that have an immediate effect on the body, mind and stress levels of the participants and that can be easily remembered for daily use afterwards.

 

All that is needed is an indoor space to practice in, one chair per participant.

Participants need to wear comfortable clothes.

 

This activity can be done in a boardroom or before/in between meetings and conferences.

Corporate Yoga or Pilates

 

Classes can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on you schedule. ​

Times fit in with your work comitments, i.e. early morning, lunch time or afternoons.

 

Classes include a warm up, stretching and flexibility exercises and a relaxation towards the end of the session.

 

All that is needed is an indoor or covered space to practice (an empty board room for example). Participants need to wear sports clothes (no shoes needed).

 

All classes are inclusive for all cultures and religions. There is no philosophical discussion (unless specifially requested).

We can provide yoga mats (up to 10).

Wellness Day Massage

 

We believe that Wellness Days should be about learning tools to carry with you into the future through the above mentioned tools. However, the day should be one of relaxation where hard working staff members feel appreciated. And what better way to show appreciation than by giving your staff a wonderful massage.
